Logan Antiques was founded in the summer of 1985 by my husband Tom and me. Both with a strong passion for beautiful old items and the lore associated with them, we filled our old Bank St. location with a large and variant collection. While my biggest passion is antique jewelry, my husband on the other hand, was a walking encyclopedia on all antiques. He was specifically drawn to art glass, and art pottery, but it didn’t end there... Tom’s love for antiques was endless! He would volunteer every year at the Billings Bridge antique road-show, relaxing in what was his comfort zone. He rejoiced in teaching others about their treasures. The same could be said for the days he spent at the shop. When a customer walked out of the shop not only did they leave with a beautiful new piece but also with a wealth of knowledge on their new purchase.
After Tom’s passing Logan Antiques eventually made the decision to move into the Ottawa Antique Market (O.A.M.). Here, the caring and knowledgeable spirit that Tom and I have instilled in our shop meets its kin in a variety of seasoned vendors who share the same glowing passion for antiques.
